Home Reversion Plans

A Home Reversion Plan is a form of Equity Release which involves selling all or part of your property to a specialist company.

In return you will be provided with either a lump sum or regular income along with the right for you and your spouse or partner to live in the property for as long as you wish.

The good bits

This scheme will generally release a larger percentage of the properties value compared with other equity release agreements
You can guarantee that a predetermined percentage of the property value can be left as an inheritance
You have the choice of either taking a lump sum from the property value or an income which will increase in line with inflation and is guaranteed for life
You and your spouse or partner will be able to live in the property for as long as you wish

Is it for me?

You will no longer completely own your own home
Your relatives will not be able to inherit your home directly
You will not gain the full benefit of any increases in the property value
