Home Information Packs

In one of the first decisive actions of the new coalition government, the decision has been made to remove the requirement for a Home Information Pack for a property marketed for sale.

This is effective immediately.

The requirement for an Energy Performance Certificate remains in place and this is required under a European directive to measure the energy efficiency of properties and encourage reductions in emissions.
